The Centralia men's basketball team lost another close game falling to Highline 68-61 Wednesday. "We struggled offensively in the first half," CC Coach Jason Moir said. The Blazers shot 22.22 percent from the field and a disappointing one for 9 from the 3-point line in the first half.
The Blazers comfortably defeated Grays Harbor 72-57 Saturday putting them in a good spot to make the playoffs. Centralia shot less than 50 percent from the field and shot 52.9 percent from the free-throw line. The Blazers still managed to keep Grays Harbor below those numbers.

Tacoma The Centralia Blazers men's basketball team walked off the court January 19 prior to the end of the game against Tacoma Titans - due to a miscommunication between the referees and the coaches. Following an intentional foul during the second half from Jake Brown, the game started to get heated.
Centralia met rival Lower Columbia Wednesday looking to pick up a win and remain a game out of first place behind Highline and Tacoma.
Saying the Red Devils have had the Blazers number in the rivalry could be a bit of an understatement. In the teams previous 13 meetings Lower Columbia walked away the victor in every bout.
The Centralia Blazers fell short to Green River Saturday giving up a 10-point lead with five minutes to go in the second half. Centralia Forward Damien Fisher added 20 points and eight total rebounds. "They (Green River) hit three late 3-pointers in the second half to help take the lead," Fisher said.

The Centralia men's basketball team started their league season Monday with a big win over the Clark County Penguins. The Blazers entered the second half with a seven-point lead and were able to extend their lead in the second half to defeat the Penguins 80-65.
