After missing three games over the weekend due to a suspension the Centralia College men's baseball team returns to action Wednesday May 6, as they travel to Green River for a night game at 7 pm.
The team was suspended for an altercation following the Pierce game on April 26.
For the season Centralia only has five games left and hopes to turns their fortunes around with some big wins for the team.
The Blazers travel to Green River on Wednesday May 6 and then return home for a set of double headers over the weekend.
Centralia will host Green River on Saturday May 9 and Grays Harbor on Sunday May 10. Both games are at Wheeler field and the double headers start at 1 pm.
Hitting leaders for the Blazers are Scott Miller, with a 298 Batting Average and 17 hits. Josh Grenier who has a 290 Batting Average with 14 RBIs and 29 hits. Jack Heinricher rounds out the hitters with a team high 16 RBIs and a 351 OBP.
Pitching leaders for the season are Trevor Harmon and Chris Wasson. Harmon has a team low ERA at 3.00, 46.67 innings pitched and is 18th in the NWAACC with 44 strikeouts. Wasson has a 3.18 ERA in 22 innings pitched and 20 strikeouts for the season.
The Blazers have a 1-19 record in league and 2-31 overall.
