Unoffical 2010-2011 ASCC election results

The election for the 2010-11 student body government has ended and unofficial results are out. The numbers in the brackets are a combination of student votes and interview points. Every candidate was interviewed by a student interview commitee.

Richie Jimenez (306 Votes) placed ahead of Lane Schinnell (221) in run for Student Government President.

Students voted TJ Williams (295), Edgar Mendieta (259) and Amanda Brown (258) for their Vice President.

Margaret Debevec (348) beat Zach Phelps (289) and will be Senator for Student Relations.

And Jace Zhu (334) managed to put himself in front of Alicia Rodriguez (296), C. Thayer Lund (219) and Shawn Kaufman (108) in the run for Senator for Clubs & Organizations.

The Senator for Executive Affairs is an appointed position and will be decided later. The new student government will officially be sworn into office at the 2010 ASCC Recognition Night at 5:30 p.m., June 1, in the Student Center Cafeteria.
