The Centralia College men's baseball team returned to action on Wednesday May 6, after missing the last three games due to a suspension and fell in defeat to Green River by the score of 5-14.
It was a wet, nasty day for baseball as the rain came down hard all day but the game still went on.
It was also a nasty day for the Blazers at the plate and in the field.
The Blazers were only outhit by the Gators of Green River by a small margin of 8-5 but the four errors by the blazers came back to haunt the team.
Starting pitcher Chris Wasson picked up the loss for Centralia.
Things are not going to get much easier for Centralia as the host the Gators for a rematch on Saturday May 9. The game is a double header and is the first series of the weekend for the Blazers as they also host Grays Harbor on Sunday.
Centralia is a combined 0-6 against the two teams but has played both teams well this year.
The loss drops Centralia to 1-20 in league and 2-32 overall.
