As part of the Blazerfest Week spirit celebration, students have dressed up, entered contests and played games.

The week began with Crazy Hair day on Monday, Feb. 8, when students were invited to sport unusual hairstyles. Students were also able to decorate t-shirts in the student center.

Tuesday, Feb. 9, was Hill Billy day.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, was Blue and Gold day. The day’s spirited events ended in a free tailgate pizza party before the basketball game against Lower Columbia College.

The game was promoted as a “Coaches for Cancer” event, where donations to the American Cancer Society were collected.

“The tailgate party was really successful.  We got rid of all the pizza,” said Shandi Stomieroski, student activities and outreach specialist.

Today was Movie Character day.

“I saw a penguin earlier, a couple people in suits and prom dresses, some Jedi,” said Stomieroski.
