Now playing on campus: the Filmmakers' Club

Making a splash in a big way, Centralia College's newest club offered a glimpse of something that has not been seen before. A pre-show event had many spectators gawking at a full-fledged movie set and live filmmaking before the club's showing of Princess Bride. Twenty cast and crew were seen shooting one of four movies.

Before showing Princess Bride, trailers for The Logger, Infection, Dreammaster Between 2 Worlds, and a short movie called Pizza Boys were seen. The audience enjoyed all four viewings. Three of the films will be shot and edited during summer and shown in the fall.

The club is preparing for another shooting day on campus - which is guaranteed to turn a few heads.
