The Blazers were able to get two games in over the weekend despite the rain splitting a pair of games against Green River April 4.

The teams were scheduled to play a game Saturday however it got called because of rain.

The two met Sunday for a doubleheader and the rain held off long enough to get both games in.

Centralia opened their 2010 league play with a close 5-4 victory over the Gators.

The Blazers five runs came on eight hits while Green River managed to score four runs on seven hits.

Alex Anderson picked up the win for Centralia and Colton Westfall came in to close the game out picking up the save.

The rain started falling in the second inning of game two but the teams played through it with the Gators defeating the Blazers 5-2.

Centralia only managed two hits in the game while Green River had six.

Scott Miller was charged with the loss for the Blazers.

Even in the wet conditions neither team had an error on the day.

Centralia was scheduled to play April 5 but that game was also canceled. The Blazers next game will be April 7 at 6 p.m. when they host Pierce.
