Unfortunately for the Lady Blazers they not only had to battle less than desired weather conditions but also the future champion Mount Hood team.
Centralia was scheduled to face Mt. Hood at 9:30 a.m. Friday but because of weather the Friday games were canceled and pushed to Saturday.
The teams were able to get one inning in with the Blazers trailing 6-0 before the games were again delayed.
The NWAACC officials were forced to modify the double elimination structure of the tournament making it one loss and you're done.
Sunday the two teams were able to finish the rest of the game with Centralia losing 19-1.
Mt. Hood scored six more runs in the bottom of the second then added seven in the third to put the Blazers away.
Centralia gave up 19 runs on 12 hits and were only able to get three hits of their own.
Brittany Frank hit a solo homerun to produce the team's single run of the tournament.
The Blazers committed seven errors behind pitcher Sam Hall who was charged with the loss.
Centralia finished its season with a 19-24 overall record and a 18-12 league record.
Kim Kerlee, Ashlee Surface and Frank were all named to the Northern Region first team all-star team while Stephanie Spriggs was named to the second team.
